I love the perspective I gain when I look back and see what I thought about things when they were happening and how I feel about them now. I love to 'harvest' my journal - reread the entries with a highlighter in my hand. I think I learn more the second time than the first! Then at the end of year I reread all the entries again, writing out a summary of the year. grounds me I guess. I love keeping a journal.
